After interviewing the public we have seen that their awareness of the threatened regions, what is being done and what can be done is quite vague and that there is not a lot being done. We interviewed a range of different to see their responses.

A lot of rainforests are threatened and I suppose that all habitats are threatened by something, buildings, pollution and global warming just some of threats.

2. What is being done to help?
Raising awareness has helped a lot, making people think about what they are using and how they are using their resources. This makes people reuse, deduce and recycle to try and help the enviroments.
People are growing more trees.
Protection authorities with government legislation help to protect certain areas/habitats from inappropriate development.
3. What can people do to help?
By being aware of the risks helps to just change their lifestyles even just a bit. They can buy good products that weren’t destroying habitats or animals to be produced. They can also recycle more often.

Mainly just some general recycling but have never joined any groups or anything in particular.
